Senior Jimmy Roebker has been a key role in Xavier's Success.

CINCINNATI, OH - Xavier's Jimmy Roebker's outstanding play this past weekend has earned him BIG EAST Tennis Player Of The Week honors.
Roebker combined for a 4-0 record, going 2-0 in singles competition and 2-0 in doubles competition. He defeated Pierre Brondeau of Saint Joseph's 6-5, 6-1 and Temple's Hernan Vasconez 6-5(2), 6-2. In tadem with Mesa Mei, Roebker logged two exceptional victories in doubles competition defeating St. Joseph's Dan Barrus and Jose Sierra 6-2, as well as Temple's Santiago Canete and Hernan Vasconez 6-2. With an impressive stat line, he assisted in improving the Musketeers to a 5-5 record.
This is Roebker's first award of the year who now stands 5-6 on the season in singles competition and 7-1 when teamed up in doubles.
With this award, it adds to his stellar career at Xavier. Roebker now holds five tennis player of the week accolades, four of which from the A10, as well as 2010-2011 Rookie of the Year Honors. Roebker was also awarded CoSIDA All-Academic District Five At-Large Team Honors in 2013.
