CINCINNATI - The Xavier men's tennis team, winners of three-straight matches, takes to the road this weekend as it travels to Richmond, Ky. to face Eastern Kentucky and Morehead State.

The Musketeers (3-1) have swept their last two opponents as they head into Friday's match against Eastern Kentucky (0-2) and Saturday's tilt versus Morehead State (0-2). Matches times are set for 4 p.m. against the Colonials and 1 p.m. against the Eagles.

Junior Mesa Mei leads the Musketeers into battle with a perfect 4-0 record at the No. 2 singles position for Xavier. Freshman Zach Mueck was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie Performer of the Week on Tuesday after his 3-1 start.

Senior Brandon MacDonald and junior Jimmy Roebker also have 3-1 records to begin the season for the Musketeers that have only seven-set losses over their three-match streak.

Over those matches the Musketeers have not dropped a doubles match and the 55th-ranked combination of Mei and Roebker are 2-0.
