KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - On the second day of tournament play, the Musketeers battled relentlessly through two rounds. Seniors Mesa Mei and Jimmy Roebker each had big days, displaying their veteran skills.

Roebker put forth an impressive showcase by defeating both Austin Peay's Aleksas Trverljonas in two sets, 6-1, 6-2, and then Memphis' Jarryd Woog in three sets, 6-4, 4-6, 6-1. With stellar play, Roebker will enter the round of 16 and will continue his journey in competition tomorrow at 2:00 p.m.

Mei earned the first win of the day for the men's tennis squad as he defeated Tennessee's Colton Norton in two sets 6-3,6-0. Mei then went on to face Purdue's Szymon Tatarcyck, falling in three sets, 7-5, 3-6, 6-4. With the loss to Tatarcyck, Mei was eliminated from the Fall Regional Championships.

Adam Krull is in the consolation round and will play tomorrow morning at 11:30 a.m.
