Final Stats

MUNCIE, Ind. - Xavier University sophomore Patrick Bandy won the Flight B singles competition at the Ball State Invitational Sunday. Bandy defeated Butler University's Chris Herron 6-3, 6-1 in the flight finals.

In Flight C Doubles the duo of Philip Diaz and Marc Pretorius won the flight finals due to a withdraw. The tandem earned a 9-7 win in the semifinals.

Herron defeated Xavier junior Brian Starr 6-2, 6-2 in the Flight B semifinals. Starr and partner Anthony Palmenter fell in the Flight B Doubles semifinals. The Musketeers will return to tournament action October 16 as they travel down I-71 to compete in the Louisville Cardinals Invitational.
