ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The Xavier men's tennis team picked up another Atlantic 10 Conference win Friday afternoon as the Musketeers defeated Saint Louis 7-0. With the win, XU improved to 11-9 overall and 4-1 in the A-10.

"We got the job done today," said Xavier head coach Eric Toth. "We did a really good job again building leads in singles and never letting Saint Louis get into the match. Most importantly, it is another conference win, which keeps us among the teams at the top of the list for the upcoming conference tournament."

XU swept all six singles matches with senior Bobby Deye picking up a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 1. Fellow senior Brian Starr defeated Patrick Kella at No. 5.

Sophomore Philip Diaz earned a 6-1, 7-6 win at No. 6 and fellow sophomore Brandon MacDonald took home a win at No. 3.

XU returns to action Sunday, April 3 as they travel to face A-10 rival Dayton. First serve is set for 9 a.m.
