"A good weekend for us. We did a good job taking care of business today coming off a really big win yesterday,” said Xavier head coach Eric Toth. “I am very happy with our first month. Next week we get into conference play which is an entirely different season. We need to put behind our recent successes quickly to prepare for St. Joseph's and Temple. Our guys always seem to rise to the occasion in conference play and I know they are very excited to go to Philadelphia next weekend to get started with the early portion of our A-10 season."

XU will open the Atlantic 10 season February 5 at St. Joseph’s.
