As a Sophomore (2008-09): Despite not being a part of the singles lineup in the spring, Starr was a consistent force in the Flight 3 doubles slot, no matter who his partner Bouncing between three different partners, he posted a 12-7 doubles mark in dual meets, with one victory coming in the Flight 2 slot Opened the spring with victories in four of his first five doubles matches, splitting time with sophomore Bobby Deye and freshman Marc Pretorius Paired with Deye for his final nine matches of the season, going 6-2 in the eight that reaced decision Finished the fall season with a record of 4-4 in singles play and 5-6 in doubles play Was runner up in the Consolation Final of the "C" Flight at the Louisville Invitational.
