CINCINNATI - Junior defender Nick Hagglund of the Xavier men's soccer team earned his second All-American award this week as he was named on Saturday to the College Soccer News All-America Third Team.

On Friday Hagglund was named to the NSCAA All-America Second Team becoming the first Musketeer player to earn the honor. The Cincinnati native lived up to expectations after being named to the College Soccer News Preseason All-America Third Team. Hagglund was also named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List prior to the start of the season.

The Xavier center back earned this year's Atlantic 10 Conference Defender of the Year award in addition to this two All-American honors. He helped the Musketeers record a 14-3-5 record while scoring twice and adding four assists. Hagglund started all 22 matches for the Musketeers who finished their season in the second round of the NCAA Tournament to Indiana.

The three-time A-10 selection has four-career goals and eight-career assists.
