CINCINNATI - Three members of the Xavier University men's soccer team earned Atlantic 10 postseason accolades as announced by the league office on Wednesday. Senior forward Toni Skudrzik, freshman midfielder Andrew "Dico" Hanycz and freshman forward Slavisa Ubiparipovic were all recognized.

Skudrzik earned recognition as an honorable mention All-Atlantic 10 selection after leading XU with six goals and 14 points. Two of his goals came in game-winning fashion including his double-overtime score on Sunday to down Richmond and propel XU into its first Atlantic 10 Tournament since 1997. The Indianapolis native was named to the 2003 Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team and enters tournament play with 19 career goals.

Hanycz was named to the All-Rookie Team after playing in Xavier's last 17 games and dishing-out a pair of assists. Prior to the season, Hanycz earned mention as one of the "100 Freshmen to Watch" by College Soccer News.

Ubiparipovic was also voted onto the All-Rookie Team by the league coaches after the Mentor, Ohio native scored three goals and dished-out a pair of helpers for XU during the 2006 season. Ubiparipovic's two game-winners tied for the team lead.

Both Hanycz and Ubiparipovic were named to the 2006 Preseason A-10 All-Rookie Team.

The Musketeers finished 7-9-2 overall and 4-3-2 in Atlantic 10 play. Both win totals marked the most for XU since the 2002 season.

Xavier will seek its first ever Atlantic 10 Tournament win when the No. 6 seed Musketeers take on No. 3 seed Richmond on Thursday. Game time is set for 5 p.m. and fans can follow the action live via gametracker on
