CINCINNATI - The unbeaten Xavier men's soccer team was ranked No. 24 in the latest NSCAA/Continental Tire released on Tuesday.

The Musketeers (4-0-1) jumped from the 33rd spot and receiving votes to the No. 24 spot following victories over IUPUI and Milwaukee. The position is the second highest NSCAA rank in program history. Xavier was ranked No. 23 last October after its 6-1-1 start.

Xavier remained in the second spot behind Charlotte - ranked fifth nationally - in the Mid-Atlantic Region ranking.

The NSCAA poll wasn't the only ranking the Musketeers achieved this. Xavier held the No. 19 spot in the Soccer America poll, the No. 20 ranking by College Soccer News, and 28th spot in Top Drawer Soccer's top 48 ranking.

Xavier will look to take a step forward when it visits Virginia, ranked 26th by Top Drawer Soccer, on Friday night.
