CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The Xavier University men's soccer team defeated Marshall 1-0 on Saturday, March 12 at the Xavier Soccer Complex in Cincinnati.

Xavier improves to 2-0-0 on during the spring season with the win.

Bobby Salas took a feed from Toni Skudrzik at 30:38 and drilled it into the back corner of the goal to give XU the lead for good.

Ty Hemle made a breakway save in the game's openning minute to preserve the shutout and Chris DiNuzzo was equally as effective between the posts in the second half.
