As a Junior (2009): Saw playing time in 13 of the 15 contests, including eight starting positions... Of his 18 shots, two found the back of the net... His three assists was tied for second on the team with Luke Spencer, and his seven points was second highest on the team... Dieng's best game was the overtime win over Rhode Island where his one shot was buried in the net and was accompanied by his assist... He had a season high five shots against UMass on October 9... He earned his United States citizenship during the 2009 season.

As a Sophomore (2008): Played in 15 contests for XU and earned 11 starts ... Tied for fourth on the squad with one goal and was tied for third on the team with one assist ... Dieng's three points were the fourth most on the squad ... Dieng's goal came off a penalty kick in XU's 2-1 loss at Charlotte on October 19. The goal tied the game, 1-1, until the 49'ers added the game-winner with less than five minutes remaining in regulation ... Dieng's assist came in XU's season finale, 1-0, victory against Dayton on November 8. The Musketeers thwarted a Dayton free kick and Dieng was able to find Jake Vollmer in the box for the game-winner early in the second half ... Dieng led the team with 40 shots and 14 shots on goal ... He attempted a season-high seven shots against Richmond on October 12.

As a Freshman (2007): Started in 18 of the 19 contests he played in ... Selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team and was also one of only two freshmen to be honored as an All-Mid Atlantic Third Team pick by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America ... Also earned mention as an All-Ohio selection by the Ohio Soccer Coaches Association ... Second on the team with four goals, three assists and 11 points ... Made an immediate impact as Dieng dished-out his first collegiate assist in the 2007 season opener against UC Davis on August 31 ... Scored his first collegiate goal in XU's next match, a 4-0 win over UNLV on September 2. His goal against the Rebels was the game-winner and helped him earn a spot on the Ramada Xavier Challenge All-Tournament Team ... Scored a goal and assisted on another score in XU's 5-0 rout of IUPUI on September 16 ... Netted his third goal of the season in the 23rd minute of XU's match against Western Kentucky, giving the Musketeers a lead they would not relinquish ... Assisted on Chris Miliano's insurance tally against Duquesne on November 9 ... Xavier was 3-0 when Dieng dished-out an assist, 3-1 when he scored a goal and 5-1 when he registered at least one point.
