MSOC: Cohen's Experience

Junior Adar Cohen has had a big impact on the Xavier men's soccer program. Cohen has been to three-straight NCAA Tournaments and helped set numerous records. He is the oldest member of the team and spent three years in the Israel military.

  • As A Junior (2012)
    Started in all 22 games this season ... pivotal player in the midfield and on defense ... his eight assists ranked third on the team and fifth in conference ... his assists per game (0.36) also ranked eighth in conference ... ripped eight shots on the season, four being on goal ... aided five goals in three games, including three assists in a 5-1 victory over Richmond ... logged 1874 minutes, fourth highest on the team.

    As A Sophomore (2011)
    Contributed nearly 1700 minutes of play as an outside back ... Started in 18 of the 19 matches he played ... Was named the Atlantic 10 Championship's Most Outstanding Player after leading the Musketeers to their second-straight league championship ... Member of a stingy defense during the season and Atlantic 10 Championship ... Netted the decisive penalty kick in the league championship match shootout against George Washington ... His first-career goal was a game winner against Saint Joseph's on the road ... Added an assist against IPFW ... Took eight shots on the season.

    As A Freshman (2010)
    Played a major role as a midfielder in the Musketeers record-breaking defensive season ... Saw action in 14 games and started in 10 of them ... Played in six of Xavier's 10 shutouts ... Playing time during the early portion of the season was limited due to an arm injury ... Started the Musketeers first two and final six games of the season ... Was on the pitch for over 1,000 minutes on the season, including play the eight entire contests ... Recorded four shots on the year, one of which was on goal.
