COMPLETE RESULTS AFTER DAY ONE

South Bend, Ind. --- The Xavier men’s golf team battled some challenging weather conditions and finished with a first-round 295 after day one of the Fightin Irish Gridiron Classic, which is hosted by the University of Notre Dame at the Warren Golf Course. Xavier is in sixth place in the 12-team field, eight strokes off the pace being set by leaders Houston and Michigan State at 287. 

Three Musketeers are tied in a group of 10 golfers in 17^th place on the leaderboard with scores of 2-over-par 73: Korey Ward, Aaron Siekmann and Jesse Heinly.

Round two is now slated to tee off two hours late at 10:30 a.m. on Monday due to a threat of frost. The third and final round is Tuesday.
