Xavier is looking to make their mark in the BIG EAST in the first season.

Cincinnati, OH. - The 2013-14 Xavier University men's golf schedule features 11 regular-season events, including the annual Cobra Puma Invitational. This season is highlighted by the Musketeers competing in the BIG EAST. The Musketeers will return to four events from a season ago, including the Marshall Invitational where Xavier Standout Korey Ward took home the tournament title with a staggering 9 under par.
Six fall events open the schedule, beginning with the Marshall Invitational, Sept. 9-10, in Huntington, W.V. Additionally, the Musketeers will participate in the Michigan Wolverine Invitational (Sept. 16-17), Notre Dame Gridiron Classic (Sept. 22-24), Badger Invitational (Sept. 28-Oct. 1) and the Hoya Invitational (Oct. 21-22). Xavier will host their annual tournament, the Cobra Puma Invitational, on October 28 and 29 in Ft. Myers, Florida. This tournament will wrap up the Musketeers 2013 fall portion of the schedule.
Five events are slated for the spring, including the BIG EAST Championships. Leading off the spring schedule will be the MAC Match Play tournament on February 10-11 in Dade City, Florida. The Musketeers will then travel to the Bash at the Beach (Mar. 10-11), Talis Park Challenge (Mar. 16-17), Memphis Intercollegiate (Mar. 31-Apr. 1) and the NYX Hoosier Invitational (Apr. 12-13).
Rounding out Xavier's schedule is the BIG EAST Championship on April 27-29. For the first time, Xavier will compete against Butler, Creighton, Georgetown, Marquette, Seton Hall, St. John's and Villanova in the BIG EAST Championships. The Musketeers bring a rich tradition of success in conference tournaments, having won the A-10 Championship four times and reaching the NCAA Regionals five times.
