FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. - Senior Sebastian MacLean and freshman Korey Ward led the Musketeers after the first 36 holes of the Amelia Island Intercollegiate. Xavier is in sixth place out of 15 teams.

MacLean and Ward are in a tie for 19th with a 1-over-par 145. MacLean pulled together rounds of 74-71 while Ward stayed consistent at 73-72.

Rookie Tanapol Vattanapisit is in a tie for 35th place after carding rounds of 77-73--150 (+6). Classmate Connor Tendall sits one shot back with rounds of 76-75--151 (+7). Senior Chris Burger shot a two-round score of 8-over-par 152 (74-78) tie sit in a tie for 44th.

North Florida holds the team lead with a 19-under-par 557 team score. UNF's Sean Dale is the top individual with a 5-under-par 137.

The final round will be tee times starting at 8 a.m. Xavier will be paired with Troy and Georgia Southern with tee times from 8:45 to 9:21. Stay tuned to for final results.
