Alan Glynn was one of four Musketeers to finish in the top-20

HUNGTINGTON, W.Va. – Freshman Sebastian MacLean fired rounds of 72-69-71 – 212 (-1) and finished in second place at the Marshall Invitational played at the Guyan Golf & Country Club in Huntington, W. Va. MacLean was just one shot off the pace set by Illinois’ Zach Barlow en route to leading the Xavier University men’s golf team to a second-place finish.
XU finished 14-shots behind nationally ranked Illinois.
XU boasted three top-20 finishers as Kieran Lovelock (+5), finished in a tie for ninth place while Alan Glynn and Peter O’Neill (+7) each finished in a tie for 20th. Michael Beausejour rounded out the scoring for the Musketeers with a 226, including a one-over par 72 in the final round.
Xavier is back in action on April 13 and 14 when the team competes at the UMB Bank Missouri Tiger Invitational in Columbia, Mo.
