WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Senior Chris Burger led the Musketeers to a fifth place finish at the Florida Atlantic Invitational. Burger was the Musketeers' top finisher, ending the tournament in a tie for 11th place.

As a team, Xavier shot a 10-over-par 294 on the final day 10-over-par 862 tournament total. Florida State won the team competition with a 23-under-par 829 team score.

Burger carded a 3-over-par 73 in the final day to finish with a 1-under-par 212 tournament total. He was tied for first in the tournament in par-4 scoring with a 3.82 scoring average. Korey Ward was the second finisher for XU with a tournament total of 75-68-73--216 (+3) for 20th place. Sebastian MacLean turned things around in the final round, notching a 1-under-par 70 for a tournament total of 5-over-par 218 for 30th place. Tanapol Vattanapisit was tied with MacLean with a 5-over-par 218 after carding a 6-over-par 77 on the final day. Connor Tendall shot an 8-over-par 79 for a 15-over-par 228.
