Missouri Invitational is next up for the Musketeers

LAKESIDE, Calif. - The men's golf team wrapped up the Barona Cup up a spot from the first day of competition. Herbert Day was the top finisher for Xavier in a field that included several individuals and teams ranked in the top of the GolfStat rankings.
The Musketeers finished up 15th place with a total team score of 1159 (+79). XU shot a final round of 391 to best Texas El Paso.
Day finished in 40th place after firing a final round of 4-over-par 76 to finish with a total of 227. Sebastian MacLean fired a final round of 6-over-par 78 for 59th place. Chris Burger carded a 7-over-par 79 for a 76th place 234.
Yuki Kato bounced back from his first round, by shooting 5-over-par 77 for an 82nd place 237. Senior Peter O'Neill was the final scorer for the Musketeers with a 10-over-par 82 for a total of 240. Alan Glynn shot a 9-over-par 81 to finish close behind O'Neill in 92nd with a total of 241.
