Williamsburg, Va. --- The Xavier University men's golf team finished tied for 14th out of 32 teams in the weather-shortened C&F Bank Intercollegiate in Williamburg, Va. Xavier shot a first-round 298 on Sunday and much of the rest of the field completed their one and only round today.

Tennessee won the tournament with a five-over-par total of 285. Florida State and Michigan tied for second at 287.

Korey Ward led with a three-over-par 73 on the River Course, which earned him a tie for 25th on the leaderboard. Xavier's other three players who finished a round were Tanapol Vattanapisit and Yuki Kato, who both posted four-over-par totals of 74 and tied for 40th and Nicholas Crozier with a 77, which earned him a tie for 91st.
