CINCINNATI - In celebration of Veterans Day and to show appreciation to the men and women who have served or are currently serving in the armed forces, Xavier Athletics would like to invite all veterans and active military to attend the Xavier men's basketball home opener on Friday, November 13th against Youngstown State. Xavier Athletics will provide two free admissions to this Friday's game at Cintas Center to all active and inactive members of the U.S. Armed Forces and all Veterans. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. at Cintas Center.

Military personnel will receive two free admissions to Friday's game by presenting a government issued Military ID or evidence of military service at the Cintas Center Ticket Office. Tickets can be secured in advance or on game day if there are still tickets available.

Veterans Day and honoring the sacrifices of the veterans is something that is personal to first-year Xavier head coach Chris Mack. "We should remember every day the commitment and sacrifices made by the men and women who currently serve or served our country." said Mack, whose younger brother Tim just returned from Iraq where he served as a member of the U.S. Navy.
