CINCINNATI --- Xavier University senior forward Jamel McLean is expected to miss 3-6 weeks as a result of an injury sustained in Tuesday's exhibition game against Northern Kentucky University.

"Jamel has a fracture of the orbital floor, which is the bone that surrounds the eye socket," said Xavier team physician Henry Stiene. "At this point we feel the healing time will be 3-6 weeks and we expect a full recovery."

McLean, one of three returning starters from last year's NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 team, averaged 8.5 ppg. and 7.5 rpg. as a junior.
