CINCINNATI --- Xavier University sophomore guard Brad Redford has been ranked by FOXSports.com as the second-best shooter in college basketball for the 2009-10 season. Jeff Goodman, senior college basketball writer for FOXSports.com, put the list of the top 50 shooters in an article on today’s FOXSports.com college basketball page.

Redford led the entire Atlantic 10 Conference in three-point percentage at a school-record 46.5 percent (53-of-114) despite the fact that many of his three-pointers came from way beyond the new and deeper three-point line. His three-point percentage broke the single season mark (.457 on 63-of-138) set by then-senior Jamie Gladden in the 1992-93 season.

For the record, 53 of Redford’s 56 field goals last season were three-pointers.
