Xavier University announced today that Learfield Sports has become its first-ever, exclusive athletics multi-media partner.

The 10-year agreement calls for Learfield Sports to establish a locally based entity, known as "Xavier Sports Properties" (XSP), to manage and sell Xavier Athletics' multimedia rights that include all signage, scoreboards and videoboards for the 10,250-seat Cintas Center - the state-of-the-art, on-campus home to the men's and women's basketball teams as well as the volleyball team. Additionally, XSP will oversee the comprehensive rights for various print opportunities, such as game programs; Xavier's official athletic Web site; certain television rights, including some live men's basketball games, as well as radio rights. With the addition of Xavier, the company now manages multimedia rights for 37 collegiate institutions and associations. Learfield Sports also manages the marketing partnerships for the Black Coaches & Administrators (BCA) and provides exclusive sports programming to more than 1,000 radio stations throughout the country. Additionally, Team Services, LLC, a Learfield Sports company, specializes in venue naming rights, marketing research and sales consultation.
