Xavier Basketball Unveils New Billboard Campaign

CINCINNATI -- Xavier Athletics recently unveiled a series of billboards in highly visible areas on roadways throughout Southwest Ohio. The campaign will continue through November and is a partnership between Xavier Athletic Marketing, Xavier Sports Properties, and Norton Outdoor Advertising.

The displays feature Xavier men's basketball senior student-athletes Kenny Frease and Tu Holloway. Holloway, an All-American, and Frease will anchor a veteran team that has high expectations and has generated widespread excitement in advance of the season.

The campaign is intended to promote men's basketball season-ticket packages and enhance the Xavier brand. Each of the displays feature the GoXavier.com web site and the "Be The X Factor" campaign slogan. In addition to the more than 30 vinyl displays, Xavier will also utilize a NortonHD digital display on both I-71 and I-75 during October and November to market Xavier women's basketball, Musketeer Madness (October 22) and single-game tickets.

The Musketeers' 17-game home schedule features Georgia, Gonzaga, Purdue, and the Crosstown Shootout versus the Cincinnati Bearcats. Xavier will play eight Atlantic 10 games at Cintas Center including Dayton, Richmond, and Saint Louis.

Full-season tickets begin at $300. That's only $17 per game and over 25% off the individual game price! In addition to full-season tickets, Xavier will be offering three different mini-packs. These packs will go on sale to the public September 26 at 9:00 a.m. and include two four-game packs and the popular Shootout 6-pack.
