CINCINNATI - The annual basketball awards banquets will take place on Thursday, April 19 for the Xavier men's basketball team and Wednesday, April 25 for the women's basketball team at Cintas Center.
Both events will begin with a reception at 6:00 p.m. in The James and Caroline Duff Banquet Center in Cintas Center. The dinner and program will follow at 7:00 p.m.
All Xavier fans and supporters are invited to attend. Reservations can be made online no later than Thursday, April 12 at http://www.xavier.edu/basketballbanquet/index.cfm. An invitation will not be mailed.
The cost of each event is $65 per person. New for this year, reservations for kids 10 and under are being accepted for $25. Tables may also be purchased for the men's basketball awards banquet. There are a limited number of tables available to sit with a Musketeer student-athlete or assistant coach beginning at $750, $1,000 or $1,500. Table requests will be taken on a first come, first served basis. Tickets and table locations for both banquets will be distributed at the door.
The men's basketball team is coming off its fourth NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 appearance in the last five years, one of only four schools that can make that claim.
