CINCINNATI -- In appreciation for fan support throughout the 2012-13 basketball season, Xavier Athletics announced today a special $15 ticket offer to the final regular season home game against nationally-ranked Saint Louis this Wednesday, March 6 at 9:00 p.m.  The offer is for a limited number of upper-level tickets, and while supplies last.

The sale is on walk-up purchases only, beginning Wednesday at 9:00 a.m.  Tickets may be purchased during normal business hours at the Xavier Athletics Ticket Office on the east side of Cintas Center, and at the event ticket windows beginning 90 minutes before tip-off.

Fans attending Wednesday’s game will have a chance to make a difference and possibly save a life.  Chris Herrell, a 1998 Xavier graduate and Cincinnati Reds employee, has a need for a bone marrow transplant as he fights a rare blood cancer.  The "Be the Match" folks will be at the game for a "Marrow Donor Registry Drive".  Everyone between the ages of 18 and 44 who will be at the game are encouraged to be tested.  Signs and volunteers in Cintas Center will direct fans to the testing site located in the James and Caroline Duff Banquet Center.  It's safe, quick and easy and if you register and are a match for Chris, or someone else, you may truly save a life.  If you cannot attend, please text “match” to 50555 to make a $10 gift or visit Chris’ team page at bethematchfoundation.org/goto/chrisherrell.

Xavier will honor its senior players, Travis Taylor, Jeff Robinson, and Brad Redford, and senior program assistants in pre-game ceremony beginning at approximately 8:45 p.m. ET.
