The X's and O's

Xavier, 12-1 in the Atlantic 10 Conference, has clinched sole possession of its second straight A-10 regular season title. XU will have the top seed and a first-round bye in the upcoming A-10 Tournament and will play its first game at noon on Thursday, March 13. • Xavier's 10-game winning streak is the longest under fourth-year head coach Sean Miller. XU won nine straight at one point last season. The current streak of 10 straight wins mark the longest since XU won a school-record 16 straight games during David West's senior year in the 2002-03 season.

• Xavier is ninth in the Associated Press Poll, XU's highest ranking since being ranked a school-record seventh early in the 1997-98 season (12-7-97). XU is 11th in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll, which is XU's highest since being ranked 10th late in the 2002-03 season (3-10-03).
