Xavier, 12-1 in the Atlantic 10 Conference, has clinched sole possession of its second straight A-10 regular season title. XU will have the top seed and a first-round bye in the upcoming A-10 Tournament and will play its first game at noon on Thursday, March 13. Xavier has a combined 25-4 (.862) A-10 regular season record over the past two seasons.
Xavier, 24-4 overall, won its 10th straight game and 16th in the last 17 games with a 57-51 win at Dayton on Sunday, XU's fifth straight win over the Flyers.
Xavier's 10-game winning streak is the longest under fourth-year head coach Sean Miller. XU won nine straight at one point last season. The current streak of 10 straight wins mark the longest since XU won a school-record 16 straight games during David West's senior year in the 2002-03 season.
Xavier has won six straight road games, which equals XU's longest since XU won eight straight road games during the 2002-03 season.
Xavier, 24-4, has already tied the school record for most regular season wins (24), which has been reached three other times: 1987-88, 1989-90 and 2002-03. The record for most wins in an entire season belongs to the 1989-90 "Sweet 16' team (28-5).
Xavier is ninth in the Associated Press Poll, XU's highest ranking since being ranked a school-record seventh early in the 1997-98 season (12-7-97). XU is 11th in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll, which is XU's highest since being ranked 10th late in the 2002-03 season (3-10-03).

Xavier, 24-4, has secured its third straight 20-win season and its 11th 20-win season in the last 12 years.
For the second straight year Xavier finished February with a perfect 7-0 record.
March has also been successful. Xavier holds the second-best record in March in NCAA Division I since 2001-02: Kansas (35-10 for .778), Xavier (29-9 for .763), Florida (30-11 for .732), Ohio State (26-10 for .722) and Connecticut (29-12 for .707).
Xavier leads the Atlantic 10 in five major categories: scoring margin (+14.2 ppg.), rebounding margin (+5.9 rpg.), field goal percentage defense (.401), free-throw percentage (.760) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.20-to-1.00).
