Xavier controlled the game from tip-off as it jumped out to a quick 14-2 lead over the first five minutes. XU, which nailed 10 three-pointers during the game, hit four treys during that stretch. The Musketeers led by as many as 14 at the 6:10 mark courtesy of a Justin Doellman three-pointer, his second of the half, before heading to the locker room with a 31-19 advantage.
