Xavier has now won five of the last seven games with Cincinnati, eight of the last 12, ten of the last 15, and 12 of the last 18.
Justin Martin led the Musketeers with 17 points and tied his career high. He also scored 17 last season against Robert Morris (11/28/2013). Martin's three three-pointers were a season high.
With tonight's victory the Musketeers have compiled a record of 18-22 at U.S. Bank Arena (formerly known as "Riverfront Coliseum"). Xavier has won eight of its last nine games at U.S. Bank Arena.
The win was Xavier's first this season away from Cintas Center.
The Musketeers' 11 three-point field goals were the most they have made in any game since they sank 13 against Fairleigh Dickinson last season (11/09/12).
The Musketeers went 11 for 16 from beyond the arc (68.8%), their best three-point shooting percentage of the season.
Xavier's 20 assists tied a season high. It is the fourth time Xavier has reached that mark this season.
The 41 points Xavier scored in the first half were the most it has scored in a first half since this season's opener against Gardner-Webb (11/08/13), when the Musketeers also scored 41.
UC's 47 points for the game were the fewest scored in a game this season by any Xavier opponent, and also UC's own lowest total.
Cincinnati's 20 rebounds were the fewest rebounds by any Xavier opponent this season and UC's fewest this season.
