CINCINNATI- Freshman guard Mark Lyons posts a career high and Jordan Crawford adds 20 points to lead four Musketeers in double-figure scoring as Xavier (18-7, 9-2 Atlantic 10) defeated Saint Joseph's (9-17, 3-9 Atlantic 10), 88-52 at Cintas Center Wednesday, February 17, 2010.

Mark Lyons contributed with a career-high 19 points off 6-of-7 shooting, 4-of-4 from downtown. Jason Love had a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds and Jamel McLean chipped in 14 points and grabbed nine boards.

Kenny Frease was active on the boards, grabbing four offensive and five defensive rebounds. Terrell Holloway made his presence felt in the assist department, dishing out six assists.

The Muskies provided high-flying excitement with flashy dunks, no look passes and overall great team play. Jamel McLean got the crowd going with his dunks and Jordan Crawford had a fantastic behind the back pass to a trailing Jason Love to get the Cintas Center crowd jumping.

XU demolished the Hawks on the glass 53-17. Frease, McLean and Dante Jackson were all near double figure marks on the boards.

Xavier was able to hold Saint Joe's to 33.9 percent from the field, including a measly 5.3 percent from downtown.

Saint Joseph's was led by Garrett Williamson who scored 17 points off of 6-of-10 shooting.

With tonight's win, Xavier extended its home winning streak to 22 games, the fifth-longest home court winning streak in the country and the longest home win streak by any XU team.
