Three seniors and head coach Chris Mack had the chance at the 2012 Men's Basketball Banquet to talk about the year and thank fans for their support.

Xavier held a press conference prior to heading to its fourth Sweet 16 in five years. The Musketeers were represented by senior guard Tu Holloway and head coach Chris Mack. No. 10 Xavier plays No. 3 Baylor at 7:15 p.m. on Friday in Atlanta.
Xavier celebrated a 70-58 victory over Lehigh University to advance to the Sweet 16. The Musketeers become just one of four schools in the nation to make four of the last five Sweet 16s.

2011-12 HONOR ROLL: 2011-12 Lute Olson All-America Team (CollegeInsider.com), his second straight year on that team...NABC (National Association of Basketball Coaches) All-District 4 First Team and Atlantic 10 Conference First Team for the second straight year...also on a number of honorable mention All-America lists...named to the National All-Jesuit Team for the second straight year...2012 A-10 All-Championship Team selection after averaging 19.7 ppg. for XU's three games...earned A-10 Player of the Week honors for his efforts against Dayton on Feb. 18 that included 32 points, six rebounds and five assists...scored XU's last three points of regulation on a 3-point play and scored seven of XU's 11 points in overtime...he earned ESPN.com and CollegeInsider.com National Player of the Week and Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Week in December...averaged 22.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists in the Vanderbilt (Nov. 28) and Purdue (Dec. 3) wins...scored 10 of XU's 16 points in overtime at Vandy and scored XU's final 11 points over the final 1:48 in the Purdue comeback victory.

FREE THROW MARKSMAN: His career free throw percentage of 85.2 percent is a new school record, breaking the XU record previously held by Joe Geiger (.843 from 1961-64)...hit 86.2 percent from the free-throw line (second in the Atlantic 10) as a senior...broke the XU single game record for accuracy when he hit a perfect 17-of-17 from the free throw line at Richmond on Jan. 29, 2011...broke the XU single season records for free throws made (A-10 record 235) and attempted (270) as a junior...hit 675 career free throws, which broke the school record of 2003 National Player of the Year David West (662 from 1999-2003)...hit 27 straight free throws at one point as a freshman.
AS A JUNIOR: 2010-11 Third Team Associated Press All-American...also was named 2010-11 Third Team All-American by Sporting News, Basketball Times, SI.com, CBSSports.com and FOXSports.com among others...
2011 Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Year and member of the A-10 All-Defensive Team...second in the Atlantic 10 in scoring at 19.7 ppg. to go with 5.0 rpg. and 5.4 apg. (first in the Atlantic 10) and 1.4 spg., while ranking second in the A-10 in free throw percentage (87.0 percent)...had a career-high 33 points in the win at Richmond on Jan. 29...recorded two triple-doubles as a junior and was one rebound shy of a third...the only XU player on record with more than one career triple-double.
2009-10: Second on the team in scoring at 12.1 ppg., including 26 points versus Kansas State in the classic 2010 NCAA Tournament Regional Semifinal against Kansas State...star of the win over Cincinnati, scoring a season-high 26 points...22 double-figure scoring games.
