Isaiah Philmore from the men's basketball team in this edition of Meet the Musketeer presented by Kroger.

AS A MUSKETEER: Transfer from Towson who will sit out the games this season due to NCAA rules...will practice with the team this season and have two remaining seasons of eligibility left beginning with the 2012-13 season.

2010-11 AT TOWSON: Townson's leading scorer with a 15.3 average, ranking sixth in the CAA...also grabbed 7.0 rpg., which ranked second on the team...led the Tigers in scoring 12 times...had double-doubles against Buffalo (21-11), Western Michigan (17-11), Delaware (22-11) and Drexel (15-10)...averaged 22.2 points and 8.5 rebounds over the last six regular season games...basketball coach: Pat Kennedy.

2009-10 AT TOWSON: Finished sixth in the balloting for CAA All-Rookie team...made 12 starts...averaged 8.4 points and 5.3 rebounds as a starter, shooting 50 percent from the floor and 81 percent from the free-throw line.

HIGH SCHOOL: Ranked No. 69 in his senior class by rivals.com...was the all-time leading scorer in Hartford County high school basketball history as he scored 1,776 points in three years at John Carroll School in Bel Air, Md...averaged 40 points per game as a freshman at St. Xavier High School in Junction City, Kan.

COACH MACK ON PHILMORE: "We are excited to be adding Isaiah to our team. He's a very talented forward who can do a little bit of everything. It's always a tough year when forced to sit out because of transfer rules but Isaiah will go to work behind the scenes. He will get better and when the time comes to add him in 2012-13, we will be adding an instant impact type of player to our program."
