LYONS DEALT AND SCORED AS A SOPHOMORE: 2010-11 All-Atlantic 10 Conference Third Team selection by the A-10 coaches...had 23 double-figure scoring games as a sophomore, including seven of the last eight games and 14 of the last 16 games...scored a game-high 24 points at Saint Joseph's on Feb. 16 on the strength of 10-of-14 shooting from the field to go with six rebounds and three assists...scored a career-high tying 25 points at Charlotte on Feb. 2 and had 15 points and seven assists in the Feb. 5 win over Saint Louis...scored 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the field in the Temple win on Jan. 22 and a team-high tying 22 points on 7-of-12 shooting against George Washington on Jan. 26...second on the team in scoring (15th in the Atlantic 10 at 13.6 ppg.), including his big game at St. Bonaventure on Jan. 19: 15 points, a game-high and career-high eight rebounds to go with a team-high five assists...scored a team-high 18 points on the strength of a career-high six three-pointers to go with five assists against Albany on Dec. 28...scored a career-high 25 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field against Wofford on Nov. 27...also contributed 3.1 apg. FREE THROW LINE ACCURACY: Had a streak of 22 straight free throws made come to an end on Feb. 8, 2011 at Georgia...shot 72.8 percent from the free-throw line for the season, including 77.8 percent in Atlantic 10 Conference regular season play...the school record for consecutive free throws made is 31.

FRESHMAN GUARD EARNED ATLANTIC 10 HONORS: Named Atlantic 10 Conference Co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending Dec. 26...scored a then career-high 13 points, hitting 5-of-7 shots from the field, to go with four assists, three rebounds and two steals in the win over Miami (Ohio) on Dec. 23.

2008-09: 2008-09 Preseason Atlantic 10 Conference All-Rookie Team selection...practiced with the team and became eligible for games in the 2009-10 season.

AT BREWSTER ACADEMY: Team co-captain who led his team in scoring at 21.0 ppg. while also dishing off 3.5 apg...led his team to a 31-4 record, establishing a new school record for victories, while earning a spot in the semifinals of the National Prep Championship...fell to eventual National Champion Hargrave Military in the 2008 National Prep Championship semifinals at Fordham despite 29 points and five assists from Lyons...had 25 points to lead Brewster in its quarterfinal win over American Christian...team won the school's first New England Class A Championship...scored 32 points in an overtime win in the regular season over Bridgton...named Most Valuable Player of the 22nd annual New Hampton Invitational Tournament after leading his squad to the title...was ranked No. 103 by Rivals.com in the final rankings and Rivals.com referred to Lyons as "a jet quick guard who can score"...Brewster Academy head basketball coach: Jason Smith, who is also the associate director of admission at the school.

BEFORE BREWSTER ACADEMY: Prior to the 2007-08 season, Lyons played at Schenectady High in Schenectady, N.Y...he also played one year at South Kent (Conn.) Prep.
