GET "TU" THE POINT: HOLLOWAY COMES UP BIG IN BIG GAMES: Saved his best game of the year for the NCAA Tournament Regional Semifinal against Kansas State as he scored a career-high 26 points to go with six assists and two steals...star of the win over Cincinnati, scoring a career-high 26 points to go with four assists...the KSU and UC games were great examples of his late game toughness...had 11 points, seven assists and only one turnover in the Duquesne win...scored 20 points to go with six assists, three rebounds, three steals and no turnovers against LSU...had 21 double-figure scoring games as a sophomore, including 17 in the win over Dayton on Jan. 16 and 16 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals at UMass on Feb. 3...had 13 points and three assists at Wake Forest on Jan. 3 and 12 points to go with six assists and no turnovers on Nov. 27 versus Creighton...added 12 points, five rebounds and three assists against Bowling Green on Nov. 17.

NO PASSING FANCY: Led Xavier in assists at 3.9 per game (sixth in the Atlantic 10), including his career-high 10 assist games against Fordham on Jan. 31 and St. Bonaventure on March 6...dished off eight assists at La Salle on Jan. 7...second on the team in scoring at 12.1 ppg., including his career-high 26-point games against Kansas State and Cincinnati and the 24-point effort against Richmond that included 11 big points in the overtime periods...had an impressive 2.00-to-1.00 assist-to-turnover ratio, which ranked sixth in the A-10; that's a big improvement from his 1.13-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio as a freshman...dished off seven assists at Butler on Dec. 19 and six more with no turnovers in the win over LSU on Dec. 29.

LEADING THE WAY AT THE FREE-THROW LINE: Led the entire Atlantic 10 Conference in free-throw shooting at 84.6 percent (154-of-182), including his 5-of-5 game against Pitt in the NCAA Tournament, 11-of-11 game against Cincinnati, a 9-of-9 game against LSU and 13-of-14 games at George Washington and versus Dayton...had a streak of 27 straight free throws made as a freshman and had a streak of 19 straight free throws made as a sophomore...current Italian League pro standout Romain Sato and current New Orleans Hornet James Posey share the school record for most consecutive free throws made with 31.

OF THE TEAM LEADERS AT THE LINE AS A FRESHMAN...: Third on the team in free throw percentage for those players with more than one free throw made per game...has shot .782 (68-of-87), although he only attempted 21 free throws over the last 18 games...hit all six of his tries against Robert Morris...did not have enough free thows made to be ranked in the Atlantic 10 Conference...had a streak of 27 straight free throws made snapped at Cincinnati, which left him just four shy of the Xavier record of 31 straight made free throws which is shared by Romain Sato and James Posey...scored a game-high and career-high 13 points, while hitting 10-of-10 free throws, in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off Championship Game win over Memphis...scored a then career-high 12 points in the win over Missouri to go with two assists, hitting 10-of-10 free throws in the final 5:36...added nine points, hitting 7-of-8 free throws, in 17 minutes against Toledo.

2008-09...: Scored nine points and dished off five assists at Richmond...came off the bench the last 11 games after a streak of 13 straight starts...those 13 starts were the first collegiate starts of his career...scored a career-high 16 points at Duquesne on 6-of-8 shooting from the field...had a career-high six-assist game against La Salle and a 10-point, career-high seven-rebound, five-assist game at Rhode Island in a career-high 29 minutes...had an 11-point game in a then career-high 28 minutes at Fordham...in his first collegiate start against Robert Morris he contributed five assists and had one turnover in 23 minutes...missed a couple weeks, including two games, due to a low-grade stress fracture in his left foot early in the season...had three assists in 15 minutes in the Ohio game...scored seven points in 16 minutes at Cincinnati and added nine points in 21 minutes against Duke...played in 33 games, averaging 5.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 21.5 minutes per game.

2007-08 SEASON AT HARMONY COMMUNITY SCHOOL (CINCINNATI, OHIO)...averaged 14 points and seven assists a game this past season for Harmony, while leading his team to a 28-2 record and the quarterfinals of the National Prep Championship...the 18th ranked point guard in the class of 2008 and the 100th overall prospect according to Rivals.com...this Hempstead native is ranked as the 16th best point guard in his class according to scout.com...Harmony basketball coach: Rodney Crawford.

AT HEMPSTEAD HIGH SCHOOL...his junior year at Hempstead High School he averaged 20 points, six rebounds, six assists and six steals, earning 2006-07 All-State Class "AA" (New York State Sportswriters Association), All-Nassau County and All-Long Island honors...led his team to the Nassau Class AA title in 2006, the program's first in six seasons...Hempstead High basketball coach: Ted Adams.
