A BIG CONTRIBUTOR...made three starts as a junior and 13 for his career...has played in 87 career games, including all but one last season.

GREAT IMPROVEMEN...earned the Gordon E. Nead Award as the team's "Most Improved Player" at the annual awards banquet...averaged 12.8 ppg. and 6.3 rpg. in 21.8 minutes per game over the final four games, while shooting 77.2 percent (17-of-22) from the field...in fact, he averaged 8.0 points and 4.1 rebounds in 17.3 minutes per game over the last 14 games compared with 4.1 points in 11.4 minutes through XU's first 15 games...hit 4-of-6 from the field en route to 12 points in the March 2 win at Richmond...scored a team-high 15 points in the win over St. Bonaventure on Feb. 16 and contributed 10 big points in the first half of Xavier's win at George Washington on Jan. 25.

2003-04...played in 27 games, starting nine times...scored a career-high 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field against Indiana, while grabbing a team-high six rebounds and swiping a pair of steals... scored 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the field to go with a career-high tying eight rebounds in just 16 minutes against La Salle at Cintas Center on January 21...started the first nine games of the season but then became a contributor off the bench.

2002-03...played in all 32 games in his first season of game action...hit 17 of his last 24 shots (.708) from the field, which covered the last 13 games combined...in fact, he had hit eight consecutive field goal attempts entering the George Washington game at Cintas Center, including 5-of-5 at Dayton on his way to 10 big first half points...shot 54.9 percent (45-of-82) for the year...scored a season-high 14 points on the strength of 6-of-7 shooting from the field in the Ball State game and had 10 points in the Eastern Kentucky win.

AT WARREN CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL (2000-01 SEASON AND PRIOR SEASONS)...averaged 13.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 1.0 assists a game as a senior at Warren Central High School...earned several honors for his solid senior season, including First Team All-Marion County and First Team All-Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference honors...also earned a spot on the Indiana All-Star team as well...for his entire career, he played four years of varsity prep basketball, including his freshman season at Roncalli High School...left his mark on the Warren Central record books, finishing as the school's third all-time leading rebounder (410) and second all-time in career field goal percentage (64 percent)...Warren Central was 21-6 his junior year and 15-6 his senior year...basketball coach: Scott Heady.
