Xavier Baseball to Hold Second Annual Alumni Golf Outing
July 26, 2006
CINCINNATI - Xavier University head baseball coach Scott Googins has announced the date for the second annual Xavier Baseball Alumni Golf Outing benefiting the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. The date for the outing is set for Saturday, October 14, 2006, at the Glenview Golf Course with a 1:00 pm shotgun start.
In keeping with the mission of Xavier University, the event is being held to help raise money for the Critical Care Unit of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in addition to reconnecting former Xavier baseball players. Because of the generosity, the 2005 event raised $4,300 for the hospital. Alumni please join your former teammates and current Xavier baseball players at the Glenview Golf Course for a day of fun on the links, including dinner, an awards ceremony, and much more.
Cincinnati Children's Hospital is recognized throughout the world as a leader in pediatric health-care. They are "dedicated to serving the health-care needs of infants, children and adolescents and to providing research and teaching programs that ensure delivery of the highest pediatric care to our community, the nation and the world".
There are many ways that you can support this wonderful event. If you need a registration form print off one by using the link at the top of this page and spread the word to your former teammates. Return the registration form to the address listed as soon as possible, as space is limited. If golf isn't your game or you just can't make it on October 14th, please consider one of the sponsorship levels or donate a Raffle/Door Prize Item.
