Leesman, Rosenbaum Selected As All-Stars

CINCINNATI -- Former Xavier pitchers Charles Leesman and Daniel Rosenbaum have been named All-Stars. Leesman, who is 7-6 with 16 starts at Triple-A Charlotte, will be a part of the International League All-Star team while Rosenbaum, who is 7-5 thus far this season with Double-A Harrisburg, will be representing the Eastern League.
Leesman is second in the league with a 2.45 ERA and was named to the Southern League All-Star team last season. The Cincinnati native and the International League will face off against the Pacific Coast League July, 11 at Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo, N.Y.
Rosenbaum's 3.17 ERA puts him in sixth place in the Eastern League. The Loveland, Ohio native has fanned 65 batters this season. The Double-A All-Star game will take place July, 11 at First Energy Stadium in Reading, Pa.
Other Musketeers In the Minors
Former XU pitcher Jordan Conley was promoted to the Miami Marlins' Double-A affiliate, Jacksonville where he holds a 1.93 ERA in 4.2 innings of action. Former XU first baseman Ben Thomas has three home runs for Single-A Augusta this season.
