CINCINNATI - The Xavier University baseball team wraps up the non-conference portion of it 2014 schedule with a meeting against Bowling Green at Warren E. Steller Field in Bowling Green, Ohio, Tuesday at 3 p.m.

The Musketeers bring a 24-24 overall record into the weekend and are trying to snap a season-long six-game skid. The Falcons enter at 23-23 overall after taking a three-game series against Ohio last weekend.

Xavier baseball was shutout for just the second times this season in a 9-0 loss to Bowling Green on Tuesday afternoon at Hayden Field. XU has now lost three straight-games, following a seven-game winning streak, to fall to 21-18 on the season. The victory improves BG to 14-20.

Daniel Rizzie paces Xavier's offense with a .311 batting average, 29 RBIs and a team-best 33 runs scored. He ranks third in the conference with 15 doubles, while teammate Joe Forney leads the team is shares the conference lead with 16. Forney is also hitting .274 with 26 RBIs and 27 runs scored.

Derek Hasenbeck is batting .299 with 30 runs and 21 RBIs, and Andre Jernigan has a team-best 36 RBIs on the strength of a .269 batting average.
