CINCINNATI - Junior Jordan Conley has been named the Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week as announced by the conference office Monday, April 14. This is the first weekly honor for the junior transfer who tallied his team-leading sixth save on Sunday in Xavier's come-from-behind, 10-9, win over Charlotte.

Conley was a perfect three-for-three in save opportunities as he tossed three innings of scoreless relief. He pitched a perfect ninth on Apr. 8 as Xavier downed Ohio, 8-5 and also closed out the Musketeers' 5-4 (Apr. 11) and 10-9 (Apr. 13) victories at Charlotte. Conley has 14 strikeouts in 11 innings pitched on the year.

In addition to his pitching duties, Conley is and everday player at the shortstop position. Over the last week he went 7-for-15 at the plate, including five RBIs, one double and two triples.
