KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- The baseball Musketeers used a four-run sixth inning and strong pitching performances to earn their fourth consecutive win with a 4-1 victory over Miami (Ohio) Thursday afternoon at the Walt Disney World Baseball Complex.

Junior Tyler Koors improved to 1-1 as he pitched five innings and allowed just one earned run. Sophomore Seth Willoughby posted his second save of the season.

Xavier (7-6) beat up the RedHawks in the top of the sixth scoring four runs. Senior first baseman Ben Thomas got the ball rolling with a leadoff single to left center. Senior catcher Ryan Bellamy brought Thomas home with a RBI single.

Freshman Brian Bruening's double brought Bellamy home and Senior John McCambridge earned a RBI when he was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded. Thanks to the offensive explosion, the Musketeers led 4-1.

In the final three innings pitchers Nathan Mutsch and Markus Kuykendoll allowed only one hit between them as they set up Willoughby for the save.

The Musketeers return to action Friday as they face Akron at 9:30 a.m.
