Xavier pitcher Seth Willoughby was selected in the fourth round of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft. Willoughby was selected as the 138th pick, the highest a Musketeer has ever been taken.
Junior pitcher Seth Willoughby became the highest Xavier player to be selected in the MLB Draft. The right-hander was taken by the Colorado Rockies with the 138th overall pick.
Junior Seth Willoughby was named to the Atlantic 10 Second Team and Alex Westrick was named to the league's All-Rookie Team. Pitching coach Nick Otte talks about their achievements on the mound this season for Xavier.
Xavier mounted a come-from-behind effort that included a four-run seventh inning and walk-off win on an error in the ninth. The Musketeers earned the series win in the final game of the season.
