Spring Break

The Xavier Olympic teams will spend their spring breaks far away from Cincinnati. Baseball and both tennis teams are in Florida, the men's golf team tees it up in North Myrtle Beach, and the women's golf team stays in Arizona.

2013: Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team ... Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team ... 2013 CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-District Five First Team ... Graduated as one of the best pitchers in program history, ranking first in games started (57), second in career wins (26), second in innings pitched (368.0) and fifth in strikeouts (212) upon graduation ... Registered a career-best 9-4 record with the lowest ERA of his career at 2.31, which was the fourth lowest in the A-10 ... His nine wins during his senior year led the A-10 and ranked tied-fifth all-time at XU at the conclusion of his career ... Had a .225 opposing batting average, fourth-best in the conference ... Notched a career-best 65 strikeouts, while only walking 27 batters in 105.0 innings pitched, the seventh-highest single season total at Xavier at the time... Posted four complete games and one shutout, allowing just three hits in nine innings in a 2-0 win over Rhode Island that garnered Atlantic 10 Co-Pitcher of the Week honors on April 29 ... Matched his career-high with eight strikeouts against St. Bonaventure ... Pitched a complete game at No. 4 Louisville, striking out six Cardinals ... Went the distance in Xavier's 8-2 win over five-seed George Washington in the opening game of the A-10 Championship.

2012: Received the starting nod 14 times for the Musketeers, posting a 5-5 record and 5.15 ERA ... Led the team with 87.1 innings pitched ... Registered a team-high 51 strikeouts on the season and only issued 23 walks ... Pitched 5.1 innings at No. 3 North Carolina, allowing three runs on four hits to help Xavier earn the 10-4 win ... Struck out a season-high seven batters in 5.0 innings of work in a February meeting with Rhode Island ... Picked up the victory against Michigan after giving up just four runs in seven innings and striking out six Wolverines ... Struck out six Rams and held Rhode Island to just three runs in seven innings on the mound in Xavier's 14-5 weekend series win at URI ... Scattered seven hits and one run through eight innings to earn the 2-1 win against Fordham ... Went 7.2 innings at La Salle, limiting the Explorers to three runs on eight hits ... Got the win after throwing six innings against George Washington.

2011: Posted a 5-5 record with a 3.76 ERA in 15 appearances including 14 starts ... Pitched two complete games ... Struck out a career-high eight batters vs. Richmond in the A-10 tournament (5/25).

2010: Started 14 games in his rookie season and compiled a 7-3 record with a team second-best ERA of 4.95 ... Was the only Musketeer to pitch a complete game with two...Pitched a total of 80 innings ... Struck out 40 batters and allowed 89 hits and 48 runs ... Recorded his first career win at Georgia Tech (2/28).
