Xavier mounted a come-from-behind effort that included a four-run seventh inning and walk-off win on an error in the ninth. The Musketeers earned the series win in the final game of the season.
Xavier knocked off Cincinnati in the first of a two-game mid-week series. A couple of big plays were the difference in the 4-1 victory.
Xavier trailed 3-0 but battled back to take game two of the three-game Atlantic 10 series against Charlotte.
The Xavier Olympic teams will spend their spring breaks far away from Cincinnati. Baseball and both tennis teams are in Florida, the men's golf team tees it up in North Myrtle Beach, and the women's golf team stays in Arizona.
The Xavier baseball begins its 2012 journey this weekend against the No. 4 North Carolina Tarheels in Chapel Hill. The three-game weekend series for the Musketeers will be the first games of the season.
