CINCINNATI - Both the men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Terre Haute, Ind., to race in the Pre-National Invitational. The meet has been held in Terre Haute for 10 of the last 12 years, and is where the Division I National Championship takes place. With 26 nationally ranked teams and 68 regionally ranked teams, this meet will be one of the most competitive the team has competed in this season.

The Xavier women will try to build on their successes this season. The White Division, in which the women are running, will feature 11 regionally ranked teams from various parts of the country, and will provide a strong challenge as the team tries to have a bounce-back weekend as they move forward towards the BIG EAST championship.

The men's cross country team will also be competing in the White Division. The team will be racing 22 other teams that they will match up well with, and look to run together as a pack.

Both races are scheduled for this Saturday, October 19. The men's race begins at 12:15 p.m., while the women will toe the line starting at 12:55 p.m.
