CINCINNATI - Xavier University senior Kelly Sraj has been named Atlantic 10 Conference's Performer of the Week for Cross Country as announced by the Conference office on Monday afternoon. The honor follows Sraj's top-team performance at the Xavier Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 9, in West Chester, Ohio.

In the second meet of the season, Sraj turned in a third place finish with a time of 18:51.08 leading the Musketeers to a second place finish overall. In the previous week Sraj recorded a second place finish at the Flyer 5K Challenge in Kettering, Ohio in a time of 18:39.

The Xavier men's and women's cross country teams will return to action on Friday Sept. 15, at the National Catholic Championships hosted by the University of Notre Dame.
