The First Annual Musketeer Mile & 5K Run is scheduled for Saturday, August 14, 2004 at Xavier University. The Musketeer Mile will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will be followed up by the 5K Run & Walk, which is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

Both the Musketeer Mile and 5K run and walk will be take place on a relatively flat and fast course with no hills. To view a map of the course please click here.

Among those scheduled to participate in the first year event is new head men's basketball coach Sean Miller. Miller will also shoot the starting pistol as the race's honorary starter.

Following the conclusion of both races, a post race party will take place in the O’Connor Sports Center parking lot.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Xavier University Cross Country/Track Scholarship Fund.
