Junior Tom Ohlman has qualified for the first round of the 2013 NCAA Track and Field Championships. His Atlantic 10 Championship time of 9:02.40 qualified him for a shot to advance in the 3000m steeplechase. He will run at 9:30 P.M. on May 24th at the North Carolina A&T facility in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Junior Madison Riethman and senior David Gibson were the lone competitors for the Xavier Musketeers at the Cardinal Twilight meet in Louisville Friday afternoon. Both went into their events looking for times and distances good enough to qualify for the NCAA East Regionals in a couple of weeks.

The Xavier track and field teams will a couple of athletes to the Cardinal Twilight Meet in Louisville, Kentucky this Friday. The meet will serve as a final opportunity for athletes to have a shot to make it to the NCAA Regionals.

The Xavier track and field teams competed in their final A-10 Championship meet this past weekend as they competed for the A-10 Outdoor Championship. The Musketeers came away with seven new school records and 14 individuals set a career-best time while in Charlotte.
