Ben Milroy Named to Academic All-Conference Team

Accolade Follows a Standout Performance at the Conference Championships

CINCINNATI - Xavier University junior Ben Milroy has been named to the Atlantic-10 Men's Track and Field Academic All-Conference team in voting conducted among the Conference's sports information directors.

Milroy, a mathematics major, finished 14th in the 5,000-meter run, and sixth in the 10,000-meter run in times of 15:33.24 and 31:32.03, respectively at the Atlantic 10 Championships in Charlotte on May 5-6. The men's squad recorded a ninth place finish overall at the meet.

Milroy and his Xavier teammates will return to action in the fall, as they start the 2007 cross country season.
