CINCINNATI - Xavier's track and field teams will be competing for the final time before the conference meet this weekend at the RedHawk Invitational, a one-day meet held at the George L. Rider Track on the campus of Miami University.
The Musketeers are schedule to participate in 20 events over the course of Saturday. Five field events, 14 individual running events, and one relay team make up Xavier's day at the last meet prior to the Atlantic 10 Championship.
The meet is schedule to begin at 11 a.m. with several field events including the women's long jump where senior Nia Williams is schedule to compete. Running events begin at noon with the start of the women's 5,000-meter run. Xavier's day concludes with the men's 5,000-meter run beginning at 3 p.m.
It will be the second straight weekend that the Musketeers will compete in Oxford. Last weekend they ran at the All-Ohio Championships where three Musketeers won their respective events and four others finished in the top three.
